FAYETTEVILLE— Jack Masters, President of SEBA, the Southeastern Bluegrass Association, announces a first in what could become a regular concert series in Fayette County, Fayette Bluegrass Jamboree. This first concert will take place Friday evening, September 7, 2007 at 8:00pm.
Headlining the evening will be the group Mountain Rhythm, a traditional bluegrass band featuring National Old Time Banjo Champion Robert Montgomery along with Kevin Pace, Kenneth Newell, Eric Spencer and Jimbo Wright. The group recently appeared on the Cumberland Highlanders TV Show.

If you have the chance to see Mountain Rhythm at a show near you, be sure to check out a mandolin that Kenneth is currently carrying around & playing. This mandolin was built from wood that was taken from the homeplace of Bill Monroe! It was built by Custom Inlay--- be sure to check it out if you have the chance!

We have added a few more new dates to the Guys schedule! One exciting new date to be noticed is the Guys will be hosting their very own festival this coming June! Mark June 29th & 30th off on the calendar so you can attend the 1st Annual Mountain Rhythm Bluegrass June Blast! More details will be announced shortly.
There are some new great photos in the photo gallery from a few recent events! We've included great shots of the Guys at two recent gigs- a set from South Street Sports Bar, and another set from the Redlight Cafe gig. Also new are some candids of the guys in Nashville during SPBGMA week--- from picking with Leroy Troy to visiting with Eddie Stubbs of WSM!
Something new you'll find when browsing the Music section is a link to watch videos of the Guys at some of their recent shows. You'll be able to watch a few different songs in their entirety-- be sure to check them out!
The Guys have added another date to their schedule, for two dates this summer! July 6th you can catch them in Darby, IN at the Cedar Creek Bluegrass Festival & then the following night you can catch them on July 7th in Bowling Green, KY at the Monroe Country Show! Check them out now & make your plans to head out for some shows!
The Guys are pleased to announce another new tour date on January 20th-- check out the schedule!
Be looking for MR in the next few weeks on the Cumberland Highlanders Show On RFD-TV Monday nights at 9:30 pm eastern-- there's a slight scheduling conflict, and it might not air when it's taped-- so keep an eye out for the Guys!
